Stepney Workers Club’s Varden High is usually understated, though Amsterdam-based Studio Hagel is brought on board this time, and naturally the result is out-there. The clean lines and basketball-inspired shape remain, though there are tape-like overlays wrapped around the suede uppers and yellow, asymmetrical rubber detailed across the foxing tape.
