Common Projects founders Messrs Peter Poopat and Flavio Girolami met at a bar in the '90s and bonded over their shared love of 'Air Jordan', 'Stan Smith' and 'Chuck Taylor' sneakers - the iconic designs would eventually inform the duo's debut - the 'Original Achilles'. This black pair has been made in Italy from smooth black suede, stamped with the brand's trademark serial numbers and set on coordinating rubber soles.
