The silhouette maintains the same shape and stance from its 1985 design, but is boosted by Takahashi's craftsmanship and design intent. Genuine black leather overlays the upper's colour blocking, while a Gym Red pebble embossed nubuck underlay hints at heritage basketball colours and UNDERCOVER's own preferred palettes—including a paint-splattered midsole. Finally, an "Undercover Basketball Association" logo hit on the heel counter honours the original performance basketball design of the Dunk High 1985 while presenting a new chapter of its history as the sneaker of choice for the fictional UNDERCOVER basketball league.
