550 White / Red / Navy Low Top Sneakers
Aimé Leon Dore’s Teddy Santis is a lifelong fan of basketball, so it made perfect sense for him to help New Balance develop the 550 — a modern take on the archival P550 basketball sneaker — back in 2020. The hype around the 550 is just as palpable now as it was on that first release, and now they’re back with another.
Just like its predecessor, it’s crafted with a chunky profile, combining clean white leather with navy and red co-branding across the upper. Things are just as court-focused underfoot, where ivory hits on the chunky rubber sole unit provide a vintage-inspired callback to the OG’s late-’80s release.
