New Balance’s 327 may look retro, but that’s deliberate. It’s heavily inspired by the label’s archival runners, though this women’s pair has some contemporary touches in there. The lugged, extended sole remains, as does the sporty nylon and suede uppers, only there’s repeated font on the medial side — reading ‘the Intelligent Choice’ — and hits of neon green at the tongues.
