The men's Arc'teryx Vertex Alpine GTX running shoes in Olive Moss and Tatsu completely rethink the approach shoe, blending the fit and agility of a trail runner with the stability and protection needed for technical terrain. Designed to be light, fast, and waterproof, the Vertex Alpine GTX features a full GORE-TEX liner for breathable weather protection and a sticky Vibram XS Flash 2 outsole, offering secure edging, traction on trail, and confident grip in both wet and dry conditions. A TPU shank and toe cap supply extra stability and protection, while a knit collar and integrated tongue pocket keep out debris and neatly stow laces to prevent snags and untying.

The EVA/polyolefin midsole combines soft cushioning with a higher-abrasion forefoot area for scrambling, and an 8mm drop (18mm heel/10mm forefoot) ensures balanced support for fast-moving alpine approaches. The upper is constructed from Cordura® recycled PES, with robust reinforcement and abrasion protection. Integrated carabiner attachment points provide easy transport to and from the crag, while the internal fit is precise and sock-like, thanks to the knit collar and wraparound design.
