Thanks to NIGO’s direction, KENZO has become a pioneer for a new genre of high fashion that’s effortlessly infused with streetwear undertones. For Spring/Summer 2023, the Japanese house sets sail towards the warmer seasons with a nautical theme. With Los Angeles as its backdrop, the campaign puts the focus on “worldliness, inclusivity and individuality,” and boasts a diverse selection of models and creatives that beautifully showcase the Parisian label’s graphic-heavy aesthetic. Highlights of the capsule include a sailor-inspired varsity jacket, and a camp collar shirt that incorporates dozens of custom KENZO badges.
